Bethesda has continuously shown support for the Nintendo Switch. Their upcoming Wolfenstein: Youngblood was recently confirmed to be coming to the Switch simultaneously to other platforms. Naturally, you’d expect that it would be physically released and it will be.
The game is going to be sold at retailers, but according to the Switch GameStop page, it is going to lack what could be seen as important feature of a physical release. There will be no cartridge, only a download code. This, sadly, rules out quick play for those who with slow internet since it’s required to download the game. There isn’t a reason to not trust GameStop didn’t make this mistake.
Wolfenstein: Youngblood is launching sometime this year.
