The Office is clearing out its virtual desk from Netflix‘s streaming service. The TV show which has enjoyed an eight-year run from 2005 to 2013 is leaving Netflix’s roster. In a press release, NBC Universal announced that the series will be put onto their upcoming streaming service starting in 2021.
Netflix responded to the news in a recent tweet.
We're sad that NBC has decided to take The Office back for its own streaming platform — but members can binge watch the show to their hearts' content ad-free on Netflix until January 2021

The series went on for nine seasons and all seasons will be available to the Netflix user until its rights expire.
NBC Universal has been working on a streaming service which is going to launch in 2020. The Office will have all seasons available for five years on the streaming service.
