A while ago, Bethesda confirmed they would be attending E3. Following that, people began hoping for some news behind projects like the upcoming The Elder Scrolls entry. This, however, was not meant to be as Todd Howard has confirmed The Elder Scrolls VI and upcoming Starfield are not going to be a part of the E3 lineup.
During a panel at PAX East, Todd Howard, who directs The Elder Scrolls series, confirmed their exclusion.
Before everyone asks, please be patient. It’s going to be a long time. It’s not something we’re going to be talking about at E3, either of those games, this year. And so patience, please, but you know, given the anniversary, we did want to give everybody a taste.
This also led Howard to remind people that will be improving their technology for The Elder Scrolls VI.
While this announcement may dishearten eager fans of the franchises, this could spell better quality as they are taking their time to create these games. No one needs to be reminded of the failure that was Fallout 76.
