Super Smash Bros. Ultimate’s Remaining Roster Potentially Leaked

Today, a new leak for the upcoming Super Smash Bros. Ultimate came out. Note, if you don’t want to be spoiled, do not read past this point. This leak seems incredibly likely and while there is a chance that it’s fake, it’s not something you should risk. I’ll even give you a spoiler warning

So, a leak made its way onto a Snapchat and through a series of connections, it made its way onto 4Chan, in which it spread. It was some promotional material for Super Smash Bros. Ultimate which revealed the upcoming characters for the game.

The upcoming characters are Banjo, Issac, Chorus Kids, Mach Rider with Shadow, and Ken as Echoes.

The leak seems very legitimate. Because of the placement of characters on the leak, they would have had to redraw everything in the exact same style and with the same characters, which is already a difficult thing to do. The leak also included a blacked-out name which the internet was able to identify. We won’t name the person here, but it leads to a LinkedIn page which revealed the leaker works at a factory known for printing Bandai Namco promotional materials, the same developers as Super Smash Bros. Ultimate.

Now, there’s always the chance this could be faked. Some people seem to claim the background is doubled to create the illusion, and the character choices to some may seem a bit “fan-wishy”, so I would take this with more than a grain of salt, more like a pinch. There is a lot of evidence to suggest the leak is real but, you can never be certain unless it’s Nintendo themselves.
