The relaxing farming title, Stardew Valley was always perfect for mobile gaming, but for one reason or another, it was never released on mobile. It has been released on nearly every current generation console including the PS4, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch, and that’s not to mention the home console of the game; the PC.
Stardew Valley was released in 2016 and was met with a large amount of praise from reviewers and fans alike. That following year, it was followed up with updates and a Nintendo Switch port.
This port of Stardew Valley is currently only available on iOS, but an Android version is on its way. The game is only $7.99 on the App Store and as noted by the developer; ConcernedApe it is not a cut-down version of Stardew Valley, but rather a reformatted version to fit the new UI and such. The main difference is that it has been rebuilt for touch-screen gameplay on iOS (new UI, menu systems and controls) [/perfectpullquote]
This Stardew Valley port lacks multiplayer but, includes Night Market. You can also, if needed, port your save data from your PC playthrough via iTunes. That being said, you should – as everyone should – back up your saves because mods are NOT supported and might cause issues.
Stardew Valley for iOS will be out on the App Store on October 24, 2018. No release date for its Android version was released yet.
