GameStop may have leaked the release date of the Spyro Reignited Trilogy port for the Switch. Take it as you will, this is merely speculation, but it is pretty credible nonetheless. According to fan-run, Spyro Universe, fellow Spyro fan AngrySpace found a listing on Germany’s GameStop website.
A listing for Spyro Reignited Trilogy for Nintendo Switch has been found on GameStop Germany’s website. It gives the game a August 16th release date.

While this may count as a “rumor” it has always been hinted at that the game was meant to launch on all major consoles. But, at some point, Toys for Bob or Activision nixed the Switch and PC version before launch. Last year, users noticed Spyro’s official website listed both Switch and PC in the list platforms. This didn’t last long and the two extra platforms were pulled. But, it wasn’t the most carefully done as there is a clickable blank space under the Xbox One.
Of course, by now GameStop has since taken down the page, but the internet never forgets. With the information we have, the Switch port of the Spyro Reignited Trilogy will be launching on August 16, 2019.
If you want to play it on the PS4 or Xbox One, it’s out now.
