Spider-Man 4 or Fantastic Four?

Spider-Man 4 or Fantastic Four Crossover

Sam Raimi’s Spider-Man trilogy is the godfather of superhero trilogies. Beloved by many fans and brought many tears when the franchise was rebooted in 2012. The reboot, The Amazing Spider-Man and its sequel, didn’t go as plan. So, they again rebooted him in 2016 for Captain America: Civil War. Now, Spider-Man is part of the MCU and fans are quite pleased with this. However, many fans still want a fourth installment to the original trilogy. Well, fans may be in for a treat because Marvel might have teased Spider-Man 4. Or maybe a Fantastic Four crossover with the web-head.

AFTERMATH

Immediately, after they release this; fans began speculating what this could mean. Is this the long-awaited Spider-Man 4? Avi Arad has mention in the past that he would like to work with Sam Raimi again to make animated Spider-Man film. Also recently, Alex Ross, posted on Twitter a painting that he submitted for Spider-Man back in 2004. What makes this tweet odd is that he put: #Spider-Man4, on the now-deleted tweet.

Marvel / Disney has recently obtain the rights to the Fantastic Four. So, they could use Spider-Man to re-introduce Marvel’s first family. Spider-Man and the Fantastic Four do have a long history together. Heck, Spider-Man did eventually join the Fantastic Four after Johnny Storm died. They could use Spider-Man to regain hope for the Fantastic Four franchise. After all, the Fantastic Four movies have been abysmal.

However, there is one more thing to consider. In this tweet, Marvel put: #MarvelComics. Mostly like scenario, they are teasing something about the comics. Are they doing big Spider-Man / Fantastic Four event or is Spider-Man starting his own Fantastic Four team?

What do you guys think of this? Is Spider-Man 4, movie crossover, or comic book event? Leave your thoughts down below in the comment section.
