Superman fans may have to take a back seat for the caped crusader again. The rumor cites that Rocksteady has been developing a new Batman game for the last two years called Batman: Arkham Crisis. This gossip originated from The Flix Fix. A YouTube channel dedicated to the Arkham franchise.
The Youtuber obtained his information from a (possible) QA tester for the upcoming title. This “playtester” claims that Batman: Arkham Crisis, map size will be almost twice the size of GTA V‘s. It will feature a day and night cycle, a twelve-act story, each act spanning an hour long, and will have co-op multiplayer components. The story will revolve around the Court of Owls invading Gotham City. Batman: Arkham Crisis, is planned to be released in fall 2019.
All these features would make a great Batman game, but I’m going to hold breath. There is no concrete proof of a new Batman game-in-development. Word, however, spread that WB Games Montreal are working on two open-world DC universe games. Could one of them be connected to Batman: Arkham Crisis?
