No one can deny that games are getting massive. Some may say it’s annoying while others will shrug it off as “it’s the way it is”. But, some developers don’t wish to burden the gamer – and their hard drive – into juggling games every week. The Resident Evil 2 remake is a perfect example.
Now, we know the file size for the PC port of Resident Evil 2 remake. It’s similar to the Xbox One version, if not a tad bigger listing as 26GB via their Steam page.
We already knew that the Xbox One port was set to be 21GB. This was a fair chunk sure, but when we have games like Red Dead Redemption 2 which caps off at around 100GB. We also have Fallout 76 which has around the same general file size. So, with that in mind, it’s nice to see Capcom trying to alleviate the unsavory file sizes.
The Resident Evil 2 remake will release January 25, 2019.
