Project Genesis First Playtest Has Wrapped Up

On February 1st, Project Genesis has concluded the first playtest session. This playtest goal was to provided insight for potential flaws for the upcoming Pre-Alpha test. The developers are proud to report that the test players have expressed positive feedback. Future test pilots have shown to be ecstatic for Project Genesis in their discord server.

Producer Terry Hammer stated:

This early testing has allowed us to refine our onboarding experience as we look ahead to our Open Alpha later this year. These benefits include network stress testing, pipeline process improvements, and strategies for compilation of feedback for the fastest implementation in game. Specific feedback has allowed us to focus development into the areas of the game where they will have the highest return of value to players in the short and long term. We look forward to future feedback in order to fine tune internal resources for the biggest benefit to Project Genesis players.

8 Circuit Studios recently uploaded a video on YouTube, showcasing more space combat and playtesters having a good time. If you would like to participate in the next playtest, then head to Project Genesis’ website and sign up. Signing up will give you great benefits likeĀ a monthly newsletter that will have information about playtesting, updates, and sometimes exclusives, like never before released screenshots. A wider limited Pre-Alpha of playtesting will begin in late March.
