Dead Space has been trending on Twitter recently due to recent rumors of a potential revival. The implication is that EA plans to announce a Dead Space revival at their EA Play on July 22.
The rumor began to spread like wildfire when GamesBeat journalist Jeff Grub hinted that EA is planning to revive an establish IP. He couldn’t say which IP but believes that it’s a big deal and fans will be pleased. This had led many to believe he was referring to Dead Space.
It’s speculated that EA’s Motive Studio will be handling the revival. The developers behind Star Wars: Squadron has gone on record that they are working on multiple unannounced projects. However, it’s not sure if this is a sequel, remastering, or reboot. Multiple sources claim that the revival will be a re-imagining of the first game.
