Microsoft‘s Xbox and PC-centered streaming service, Xbox Game Pass, is reportedly getting something extra or at least its higher-tier is. According to Windows Central, Xbox is working on a new plan for its subscribers to put them a bit more in-line with Nintendo’s Nintendo Switch Online by offering a “family plan.”
Supposedly, this has been an idea swirling around their head for some time, but due to technical stuff like royalties and licenses from third-party devs, it proved to be a bit tricky. Supposedly, this new plan is hitting Xbox Game Pass plan will officially launch sometime this year.
Pricing and logistics are still unknown, but one thing’s for sure, it will be less expensive than shelving out the dough for individual Game Pass accounts like you have to now.
