Bigben Interactive, the developers behind The Sinking City, recently announced their acquisition of French game developer, Spiders. They are the masterminds behind Bound by Flames and the upcoming Greedfall. In an interview, Bigben stated that this development helps mobilize their company’s 2022 plan: to be a leading brand behind AAA video game publishing.

Spiders is constantly budding up with Focus Home Interactive, a company that has a history with Bigben Interactive. So, it shouldn’t be a surprise that these two developers contacted each other and join forces. There has been no word of this merging affecting Greedfalls release date.

It’s still planned to be released on PS4, Xbox One, and PC on September 10th.
