2009’s Ghostbusters: The Video Game, is receiving a remaster. For a while, there was no set release date . . . until now. Ghostbusters: The Video Game Remastered has been announced for October 4 for PS4, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch. Perfect timing to be busting ghosts.

This is a remastering, not a remake. The upcoming Ghostbusters: The Video Game Remastered will be receiving higher resolution and not much else. It has been confirmed that the original actors’ voices will be carried over to the remastering, so fans will get a huge kick of nostalgia out of this. However, there have been reports that the multiplayer component is being rebuilt from the ground up. It’s a possibility there could be new multiplayer features. Let’s hope it’s nothing sinister.
