People have been wanting Bethesda to bring their MMO The Elder Scrolls Online to the Switch. There is, however, one problem. It’s a little well-known fact that the Nintendo Switch has its severe limitations. One such limitation is its capacity. The Switch provides 32GB of internal memory but, with mandatory features and applications, only 25.9GB is actually usable for game data.
To put it in perspective, Zelda: Breath of the Wild comes in at 13.4GB, Mario Kart 8 Deluxe comes in at 6.7GB, and Pokken Tournament DX takes up 3.2GB. This would only leave you with 3.5GB left if you downloaded all three.

I would love for it to because I love Switch. It is one of the largest games ever made, and it just will not fit on Switch.[/perfectpullquote]
With that in mind, The Elder Scrolls Online is a massive game, standing as one of the biggest with somewhere around 86GB on PS4. Another thing to consider, like what GameSpot has said, even the biggest game on the Switch, NBA 2K19, is still under the Switch’s 32GB memory with its 22.9GB requirement.
As much as the team behind The Elder Scrolls would love to bring the MMO experience to the portable Nintendo Switch and as much as the fans would love it . . . it’s simply too big.
