Elden Ring: George R.R. Martin and FromSoftware’s Upcoming Video Game

Following recently leaked information from an upcoming E3 reveal, we can now expect one of the biggest fantasy collaborations of all time. Game of Thrones mastermind George R.R. Martin is working with game developers FromSoftware on a video game called Elden Ring. While that’s all we know for now, one can imagine the fantastical elements of this upcoming title.

The original plan was to reveal the game at Microsoft’s annual E3 event this Sunday, but fans had other plans. While it is still slated to be announced officially during the press conference, the hype around it has taken the internet by storm. According to rumors, Elden Ring has been in the works for three years.

FromSoftware has been killing the game recently. Having begun operations in 1986, it wasn’t until late 2000s until their releases became a global phenomenon. They’re the ones responsible for titles such as Dark Souls, Bloodborne, and, most recently, the action-adventure masterpiece that is Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice.

E3 2019 is set to run from June 11 to 13 at the Los Angeles Convention Center, and here’s everything else fans can expect to hear more about RPGs Tales of Arise and both regular and remastered versions for Ni no Kuni: Wrath of the White Witch then as well.

The game will be available for the PC, Xbox One, and PS4. Bandai Namco will act as the publisher, as per usual.

As of now, no release dates have been confirmed for Elden Ring. Tune in for more updates from PixelBay.
