Devil May Cry Stage Play Announced for 2019

Back in July, an announcement was made by Spiral Chariots, that announcement also had something to do with Sega’s Golden Axe game. Set to occur sometime later this year, Sega plans on putting on a stage play based on Golden Axe. Rather than rolling over and conceding, Capcom announced their own stage play based on their Devil May Cry series.

Devil May Cry: The Live Hacker is slated to happen in Tokyo, Japan’s Zepp DiverCity in March. The director, Jun Yoriko has been in the stage play production scene in the past. He had previously directed the Resident Evil stage play; Biohazard: The Stage in 2015.

A website is around, however, it is almost entirely in Japanese. The show will begin on March 1 through March 10, 2019, with a total of 13 performances. The date of the stage play also seems to coincide with the release of Devil May Cry 5 which is set to release on March 8, 2019.
