Death Stranding, 505 Games

505 Games Clears The Air: Where’s Death Stranding Launching

Late last month, we reported 505 Games will be taking on the task of releasing Death Stranding on PC. As with any major release nowadays, fans were understandably wary of the potential of it going Epic Games exclusive. This has been debunked, though, by 505 themselves.

In a blog post on Friday, the publisher announced the game will be launching to Epic Games Store, but it will also be simultaneously launching to Steam. This was a breath of fresh air for some since plenty of high-profile games have gone down this route of exclusivity deals with Epic.

Death Stranding is the latest game by former Konami vice president and Kojima Productions founder, Hideo Kojima. This game is the first one following his departure from Konami back in 2015. It’s ambition, which found him casting Norman Reedus (of The Walking Dead fame) paid off with a fair share of positive reviews.

Death Stranding is headed to PC summer 2020 with 505 Games acting as the publisher.
