Dead or Alive 6 Delayed Until March

Something that’s become more and more apparent is that game developers are sometimes unable to keep promises. Whether they want to or not, game developers can’t always release their titles on time. This leads to annoyed fans waiting even longer than they were promised. Dead or Alive 6 is another victim to this disappointing fact of game development life. But, if it makes you feel any better, it won’t be too much longer than planned.

[perfectpullquote align=”right” bordertop=”false” cite=”Yohei Shimbori” link=”https://teamninja-studio.com/doa6/us/” color=”#9c1cb2″ class=”” size=”15″] I am truly sorry for the inconvenience caused by the release date of Dead or Alive 6.

The title’s development is already near complete; however, we would like to take more time to further polish its balance, gameplay, and expressivity.

In return for your patience, we commit to bringing you the best Dead or Alive gaming experience. [/perfectpullquote]

Initially, it was slated for February 15. But, Team Ninja wanted to further polish Dead or Alive 6, so they’ve pushed the release date a bit. Though, it’s not too bad. Instead of releasing February 15, it will release on March 1.

The company has apologized for its delay. The director and producer, Yohei Shimbori, assures future customers this delay is to improve the game only.

One response truly sums up this decision and what I’m sure everyone hopes to be. A quote from Mario creator Shigeru Miyamoto.
