Universal Studios traumatized millions of viewers with the official reveal of Sonic the Hedgehog. Millions went to check into a psychiatric hospital in hopes of banishing the blue demon hedgehog from their minds. Hope did ray through with the announcement that Sonic will be getting a redesign. Months later, millions have checked out with clean new sanity. However, Universal Studios decided they aren’t done traumatizing viewers. So, they released an official trailer of Cats, a film based on the Broadway musical of the same name.

Universal Studios seeks to adapt the Broadway musical into a high-budget movie. Many would say they’ve outdone themselves because they are more terrifying than Sonic the Hedgehog! It looks like Sonic had unprotected quickies with female Gremlins, which gave birth to these things.

The best part of the trailer is that it sparked hilarious reactions to this unintentional horror movie.

Don’t worry viewer, Cats is planned to pounce and haunt our dreams on December 20th, 2019 and not October 31st, 2019. I would say that is a missed opportunity, though.
