Nintendo has announced it’s bringing Brain Age back from the dead and giving it a new home on the Switch. Announced Monday in a trailer on Nintendo’s Japanese YouTube, the game appears to be the exact same premise as its precursor.

Now, sadly, the game isn’t coming to the US around the same time as far as we know. The trailer is for those with a Switch in Japan. Unlike the original Brain Age, which debuted all the way back in 2005, it has the distinct advantage of a more complicated and intricate motion tracking system, something the DS simply didn’t have at its disposal.
In the trailer, it showed off the use of its camera to detect the hand in a game of Rock, Paper, Scissors. The trailer also showed them using it to teach a kid how many fingers to hold up for specific numbers.
It also showed a counting game that could be competitively played. According to the trailer, the game will be out in the Japanese market on December 27, 2019.
