Apex Legends To Release New Solo Mode

Not everyone wants to play as a team. Group work may be an inevitable facet of life, but it doesn’t always have to be. Luckily, Respawn, the developers behind Apex Legends, have finally acknowledged this.

Apex Legend‘s Iron Crown Collection Event allows players to compete solo, but the opportunity is only available for a limited period. Though the game only released earlier this year, fans have already been begging the developers for a chance to compete alone. So far, players have only been able to compete in squads of three.

Featuring some of the game’s better-known Legends, such as Bloodhound and Bangalore, the video features squadmates slowly fading away. Now alone, the trailer states that only one may reign supreme.

While the trailer doesn’t reveal much else about the event, one can refer to past Apex Legends events to know what’s on the table. We may be seeing new cosmetics and guns come up this time around.

Fans are bound to miss the solo mode feature once the Iron Crown Collection event is over. However, Respawn may very well bring it back permanently if the mode proves popular enough. After all, Apex Legends is a game that delivers. For instance, while the game’s ranked mode was teased during Bloodhound’s event, the real ranked mode made its appearance once season 2 launched.

The Iron Crown Collection event will run from August 13 to August 27. For more news on future Apex Legends events, stay tuned to PixelBay.
